Daily writing prompt
If there were a biography about you, what would the title be?

This is certainly a daily prompt that I had never previously considered! For those of us that have had and are still living ‘ordinary’ lives (what that may be, is another question), the possibility that anyone else would be interested in what has happened along the way seems exceptionally remote.

As I approach my sixties I imagine that like most people I have experienced many of the highs and lows of human existence on this planet that are nigh on impossible to avoid. Falling in love. Falling out of love. Births. Deaths. Being hired for work. Being fired from work. And so on. Ying and Yang.

Initially I thought of maybe something quirky for a title to grab the potential readers attention. I noticed that Spike Milligan went for ‘Adolf Hitler My Part in His Downfall’ and Stephen Fry ‘Moab Is My Washpot’. On more somber reflection though perhaps a simple and all encompassing one word of ‘Resilience’ would be appropriate. All of us need some of that from time to time!
